The company that manufactures Cambo 4x5 view cameras was founded in The Netherlands in 1947 and proudly carries the unique distinction of being the first camera manufacturer to produce all metal view cameras. Cambo merged with Calumet Professional Imaging Group and now as a part of that larger company operates out of a very modern facility, still in it’s home country of The Netherlands. As a part of Calumet it focuses strongly on digital photography systems these days but there are still a large number of high quality 4x5 film cameras available for sale and auction.
