Toyo produces some of my favorite 4x5 view cameras. They aren't necessarily the best of the best but I believe that for many photographers they produce cameras with the perfect meeting of price and quality. In other word Toyo view cameras really are a great value. In addition to this fact, the company also produces a rather extensive line of 4x5 camera models from monorail to field cameras - and many variations of each - so you’re pretty likely to find a view camera that fits your needs.

Toyo offers some great entry level 4x5 view cameras, such as the Toyo Field 45CF. The camera is relatively inexpensive but still carries a great amount of features including long bellows extension for close up macro work. In addition to this it’s built with very light weight but sturdy material which makes it perfect for field use.
